Josh Sterry - Gym Owner / Instructor

Josh is the owner of Chosen Few Gym and Team manager and coach for the competition team. Josh originally started as a amateur fighter (5-1) for Chosen Few and turned Pro in 2010 and won the Combat USA WI Featherweight State Champion belt in 2011. Since retiring from fighting Josh has taken over Chosen Few Gym as the sole owner and along with the support from his mentors and coaches has built one of the best training facilities and MMA teams in the state.

Kain Rizzo - MMA/Jiu Jitsu Instructor

Kain Rizzo has been practicing and competing in submission wrestling, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and MMA since 2002. He's  professionally competed in mixed martial arts and has competed and has won numerous grappling and pankration titles and has been coaching numerous professional Mixed Martial Artists since 2007.

Travis Hefty - Jiu Jitsu Instructor

Travis has a 3-1 pro mma record. Chosen Few assistant grappling coach & kids instructor. Travis has been involved with martial arts since 11 years old & gained a lot of experience teaching kids. After moving to California, discovering mma, then moving back to Wisconsin he met Kain Rizzo through a fighter's network & has been stuyding mma under Kain ever since.

Aaron Koller - Jiu Jitsu Instructor

Aaron has been training under Kain Rizzo since 2008. Initially getting into the sport to compete in MMA, he realized that grappling was his true passion early on. He is a leg lock specialist with an unorthodox style combining techniques from Jiu Jitsu, Sambo and Catch Wrestling. Aaron has a huge passion for submission grappling and enjoys sharing his knowledge and learning from everyone he can. Aaron loves to compete and has done so numerous times in advanced divisions. He has a relaxed and friendly attitude both on and off the mat. He embraces technique and craftiness over athleticism and strength, which is reflected in his teaching style.

Jon Cichon - Muay Thai Instructor

Jon began his martial arts training in 1990 when he was just four years old in American Karate. As he grew older, so did his passion for martial arts. Jon's Muay Thai training began in Iowa under Ajarn Dean Lessei, who later awarded him with his instructor certification. Under Ajarn Lessei's guidance, Jon tested for is instructor certification under Ajarn Surachai "Chai" Sirisute, and received the title of Kuhn Kru.

Jon has also trained on a number of occasions with World Muay Thai Champions Saekson Janjira and Samart Paykaroon. Prior to returning to the Madison area, Jon was an active trainer and competitor for The Cellar Fight Team and Team Singto. Jon has over seven years of coaching experience and is also a 3rd Degree Black Belt in American Karate.

Theresa Rizzo - Muay Thai Instructor

Theresa has been a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu practitioner since 2003.  She has competed in numerous grappling competitions in both Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and submission grappling, placing in the majority of competitions she took part in.  In 2006, Theresa began training Muay Thai under John Fehling earning a Muay Thai Trainer level certificate.  Theresa is passionate about the art of Mauy Thai and believes it's a sport for anyone.
